Hotel/Airbnb Pick-up Service:
- Time: Our pick-up service is available from 4:30 to 5:00 a.m. Your guide will pick you up directly from your accommodation in Cusco during this time.
- Pick-up option at the office: Alternatively, if you’re staying near our office located at Plaza Regocijo, near the Plaza de Armas, you can join us there at 5:00 a.m. This is the last pick-up point before the tour begins.
- Booking Information: When booking, please provide the name and address of your hotel or Airbnb. If you prefer to meet at our office, mention this preference.
- Updates: If you haven’t finalized your accommodation at the time of booking, you can update your pick-up details later by emailing us at booking@exploreperu360.com.
End of Tour or Return:
- Time and place: The tour typically ends between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Plaza Regocijo, conveniently located near the Plaza de Armas. This is the designated final drop-off point.
- Additional transfer options: If you prefer to be dropped off at the airport or the bus terminal in Cusco, please inform your guide in advance. We will be happy to accommodate your request; however, prior notice is required to ensure the necessary arrangements can be made.
Daily Departures and Bookings:
We offer daily departures for tours, which you can book online through our website or in person at our office in Cusco. Reservations can be made in advance or until 9:00 p.m. the night before the tour, accommodating both early planners and last-minute decision-makers.
Tour Group Details:
Typically, groups range from 14 to 16 participants, with a maximum of 18, all led by a professional bilingual guide who speaks both English and Spanish.
Meals on Tour:
Enjoy a nutritious breakfast and buffet lunch, also adapted for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free diets, and other dietary restrictions at no extra cost—just let us know in advance.
Free Luggage Storage:
Conveniently store any additional luggage at our central office in Cusco, available daily from 7:00 a.m. and early morning from 4:45 a.m. to 5:15 a.m. before your tour starts, allowing you to explore worry-free.
Changes to Tour Booking:
You can modify your tour date or switch to a similar tour (such as Palcoyo, Humantay Lagoon, Sacred Valley, or the 7 Lakes) at no extra cost, up until 7:00 p.m. the day before your tour. Send changes via email to booking@exploreperu360.com.
Cancellations and Refunds:
- Full Refund: Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the tour begins are eligible for a 100% refund.
- Partial Refund: If you cancel within 24 hours but before 7:00 p.m. the day before the tour, you will receive a 50% refund.
- No Refund: Cancellations made after 7:00 p.m. the day before the tour are not eligible for a refund.

- ITINERARY
Cusco – Tinki - Ausangate 7 Lakes – Cusco
Begin your adventure with a pick-up from your accommodation in Cusco between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. We will then embark on a two-hour journey to the village of Tinki. From Tinki, we will continue driving for approximately one more hour to reach the starting point of our hike, where we’ll enjoy breakfast.
After breakfast, we’ll begin our hike, with a gentle ascent for about an hour and a half until we reach the first lake. From this point, the remaining six lakes will be easily accessible, as the terrain becomes mostly flat or downhill. You will have plenty of time to capture stunning photos of the lakes and surrounding glaciers.
After our hike, we will enjoy a delicious lunch and relax with a soothing bath in the hot springs, all while admiring the breathtaking view of Ausangate. Finally, we will head back to Cusco, which should take us about three hours.

HORSE RENTAL FOR RIDING
Locals offer horse rentals during the Full Day Tour to Ausangate – 7 Lakes. If you need a horse at the tour checkpoint, you can rent one directly from the locals with the help of your tour guide. They generally charge between 70 and 90 soles (around 20 to 25 dollars) for the trip to the mountain, which includes a person to guide the horse. You only need to sit on the horse. If you also want a horse for the return trip, it will cost an additional 40 to 60 soles (around 10 to 17 dollars).
Horse rental prices may vary depending on the day’s demand. Sometimes prices increase when many people are visiting the Ausangate Full Day Tour – 7 Lakes. However, at other times, locals may offer lower prices. Remember to negotiate with the friendly locals and note that they only accept Peruvian soles as payment.

Then, you will need to fill out some general information. You can proceed with the payment for the tour using any debit or credit card.
Once you finish filling out the details and confirm the payment, you will receive an email confirming the tour and the payment. - Machu Picchu reservations can cancel the tour 24 hours in advance due to weather-related reasons, such as landslides, river flooding, or police situations, such as strikes that do not ensure safety; we will refund 100% of the amount paid for the tour.
- There is no refund if you do not attend the tour at the agreed place and time.
- If you are already on the tour and, for some reason, cannot continue, there is no refund, but our guides will assist you in any emergency that may arise.
