Day 1: Exploration of Cusco: Koricancha, SacsayhuamĂ¡n, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay

Start your City Tour in Cusco by arriving at our office at 1:00 p.m. From there, we will take a 10-minute walk to the Temple of Koricancha, where you will enjoy a guided visit of approximately one hour. Your guide will share the history and significance of this fascinating place.

Then, we will board our vehicle to SacsayhuamĂ¡n, an impressive Inca site famous for its astonishing stonework. During the visit, your guide will provide valuable information about this extraordinary place.

After SacsayhuamĂ¡n, we will continue to Qenqo, an ancient site where the Incas performed rituals and ceremonies. Next, we will explore Tambomachay, known for its beautiful water fountains, a place where the Inca king used to relax and meditate.

To access the archaeological sites of Cusco City Tour, it is necessary to purchase a Tourist Ticket. Tickets can be purchased in person at the municipality office in the city of Cusco or at the first site you visit; just make sure to bring cash in soles.

General Tourist Ticket (BGT) – 130 Soles: This ticket is valid for 10 days and grants access to 16 locations throughout the Cusco region. It covers key sites in the Sacred Valley such as Chinchero, Moray, Ollantaytambo, and Pisac, as well as sites in Cusco like Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, Tambomachay, and six museums in the city. It also includes attractions in the south like TipĂ³n and Pikillacta.

Partial Tourist Ticket (PTT) – 70 Soles: Valid for 2 days, this ticket provides access to four specific sites depending on the selected area. For the Sacred Valley, it includes Chinchero, Moray, Ollantaytambo, and Pisac.
